Fire Suppression

SLFD responds to multiple types of incidents that require fire suppression and rescue.

For any potential fire, SLFD responds with two Fire Engines, a ladder, rescue, and Chief's car.  An interior, aggressive sear & rescue and fire attack will be made on structure fires when possible.

SLFD has a training facility where rescue and live firefighting skills are routinely practiced and refined.
